Peace and harmony
YouTube video by mikebaronebigband — “When You’re Smiling”
No, I’m not turning this into a musical entertainment weblog. I’m just having fun right now. You know what I mean. Eat, drink, and be merry, for the jihad comes soon enough.
I see music as the common bond having potential to bring all people together in peace and harmony.
After reading my last post, a friend e-mailed me to inquire about what the great Ernie Watts is up to these days. “Is he even playing still? He’s got to be getting up there in age,” ventured my friend. True enough. Ernie ain’t no spring chicken. But he’s still playing, and playing exceedingly well at that—mostly in Europe, where they have managed to extinguish almost every vestige of Christendom, but at least they still preserve good ol’ American jazz.

Infidel music: playlist #1
Since Charles Johnson is still publishing audio playlists on LGF, and I’m too busy right now to write anything meaningful, I thought I’d take a stab at uploading my own playlist. It seems Charles is a bit of a jazz head, and coincidentally so is yours truly. I was pleased to find on imeem dot com some of my favorites in that infidel genre, and I’ve assembled a few of them here.

My all
I was scared to death to do it, but tonight I successfully upgraded my new WordPress installation to the latest version. Relieved that I didn’t screw everything up, and having worked out all the bugs by discarding a couple plugins, I decided to unwind after a tough week by listening to some music and chillin’ out.
Over on LGF, Charles was toying with his discovery of embedded audio playlists, so since I was in a musical mood I decided to check out “imeem dot com” myself, and I’m glad I did.
The nifty little audio interface for single cuts is way nifty.
Whatever will they think of next.

A kinder, gentler film
Here for the time being is the revised version of Geert Wilders’ FITNA, which at least has the merit of being kinder and less offensive to Kurt Westergaard, the Danish cartoonist who threatened to sue for copyright infringement over Wilders’ use of the infamous Mo-bomb cartoon in the original film.
Westergaard in his announcement made some lame statement that his cartoon was aimed at Islamic terrorists and not at Islam itself, and so I just have to wonder if this blinkered woodentop actually watched the movie or just had a hissy fit when he saw his drawing–used by everyone, everywhere online–in the movie’s opening sequence.
